VELSIS was created to produce and offer high-tech, innovative solutions to urban and road mobility. Since 2006, we have been working to upgrade the operational and visual features of our products and to develop and deploy solutions to the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) industry, greatly contributing to safety.
Our name, VELSIS, is made up of the words velocity and systems. And our corporate DNA is displayed by our ability to innovate using high technology. Velocity is representative of our operation. Our agility and technical competence enables us to constantly look for solutions to meet our customer’s different needs.

INNOVATION
VELSIS WAS A PIONEERING COMPANY WHEN IT COMES TO UTILIZING TRAFFIC MONITORING SYSTEMS WITH NON-INTRUSIVE TECHNOLOGY IN BRAZIL.
Thereby, we have achieved our first success: a system to capture traffic data and violation recordings without damaging the pavement, enabling the deployment and maintenance of systems without impact to traffic flow and considerably reducing costs.

VELSIS was granted nationwide acknowledgement in inovation by Intertraffic Awards Latin America 2019 with the product Smart Wim, a state-of-the-art equipment used for weighing in motion operations that applied artificial intelligence to increase monitoring in strategic locations.
With VELSIS monitoring equipment, Salvador and Aracajú have fulfilled the UN 2020 agenda of reducing the number of traffic accidents. In 2018, Salvador reached the rate of 3.99 accidents per 100,000 inhabitants, a figure similar to Denmark’s rate, according to the OHS.
Over the years, Velsis has improved its processes and services, being granted the international certifications ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001.
